What is Maximem Synap?
Maximem Synap is a managed long-term memory layer for AI agents. It stores what an agent learns across sessions and returns the relevant parts at inference time, instead of re-sending an entire conversation history into the context window.
Core capabilities include entity resolution, temporal reasoning over facts that change, multi-tenant scoping at client, user and customer levels, and controlled forgetting with user-level edit and delete.
Synap ships 22 native framework integrations, among them LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Agents SDK, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, AutoGen, Google ADK, Haystack, Semantic Kernel, LiveKit Agents, Pipecat, Claude Agent SDK, Mastra and Vercel AI SDK. A remote MCP server is also available for no-code platforms such as n8n and Gumloop.
The SDKs are Apache-2.0 and the source is public. The memory engine itself is a managed cloud service and is not open source.
Reported benchmark results are 92% on LongMemEval and 93.2% on LoCoMo, with methodology and run files published in a public repository.
