Masto Control

Masto Control is inventory, recipe and production software for workshops that make things in small batches: candles, soap, cosmetics, food, jewellery, textiles, woodwork. It covers the point where a spreadsheet stops working. One material sits in twenty recipes, so a single price change silently rewrites twenty product costs. Two deliveries of the same oil arrive at different prices with different expiry dates. The same product sells through a market stall, your own shop and Etsy, each with different packaging and commission.

What it does:

• Materials tracked by batch, purchase price and expiry, consumed oldest first.
• Real units - grams, kilograms, millilitres, litres, millimetres, centimetres, metres, pieces - so a recipe using 12.5 g of one thing and 3 pieces of another works without rounding tricks.
• Recipes that nest: a base you make yourself carries its own cost into the finished product.
• Production runs that show how many you can make, reserve the materials, and write them off at real batch cost on completion.
• Live cost and margin per product, with packaging and channel commission handled per sales channel.
• Etsy orders synced automatically, deducting stock and packaging.
• Reports for cost of goods sold, product margins and inventory valuation, each exportable to Excel.
• Multiple warehouses, per-user roles, Excel import of your existing materials.
• Interface in English, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish.

What it is not: it does not cost your own labour or workshop overheads, it has no capacity scheduling or shop-floor terminals, and it is not a warehouse system for pallet racking. It is sized for one to ten people, not a factory.
