What is Massdriver?

Massdriver is an internal developer platform and platform orchestrator for infrastructure delivery. Platform teams package Terraform, OpenTofu, Helm, and Bicep modules with schemas, policies, workflows, and documentation as reusable catalog entries. Developers can assemble and deploy approved components through a visual interface or API without directly managing infrastructure-as-code pipelines.

The platform validates configuration and component dependencies before deployment, generates ephemeral deployment workflows, and records deployment history and audit information. It supports managed operation as well as self-hosting on Kubernetes, where the platform services, state, secrets, and audit records can remain within the customer's environment.

Massdriver also exposes a queryable model of deployed infrastructure for automation and AI-agent integrations. Its public repositories include tooling, sample catalogs, provisioners, and integrations, while the hosted platform itself is sold under commercial plans.
