What is Mass Changer?
Mass Changer is a portable freeware utility for fast batch search and replace in multiple files and file names. It is also known by its Czech name Hromadný menic.
The program can replace text in an unlimited number of files, supports many text encodings, and can show a preview of all occurrences before making changes. Occurrence previews include surrounding text, line and column position, and visible line-break markers.
Mass Changer supports replacement queues, CSV import/export, regular expressions, special replacement definitions, batch file renaming, backups, and optional processing of DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files. Older DOC and XLS files can be processed through Microsoft Office if it is installed.
Selected files can also be uploaded immediately to a server via FTP/SFTP using saved WinSCP sessions.
The application is distributed as a portable Windows executable and does not require installation.
