Its features are plenty and incomparable.
The biggest negative aspect -- if not one of the only -- is the hefty price. At $49, it doesn't really cater to independent artists or students, but more to on-going artists or those who have money to spend.
If you're looking to get STARTED on pixel art for a small fee, your safest bet is definitely Aseprite.
If you already know the gist of it and are looking for a more feature-heavy tool, look no further than Marmoset Hexels 3.
