MarketData Hub

MarketData Hub is a desktop client for building your own historical market data archive. It covers 265+ instruments — forex majors and crosses, metals, stock indices, cryptocurrencies, commodities, bonds, ETFs and individual shares — from raw ticks up to monthly candles, across the full history each instrument has (forex majors reach back to 2003, spot gold to 1999).

The retrieval happens on your machine. The app connects your computer to Dukascopy Bank SA's public quote archive, decodes the chunks locally and writes the files to a folder you choose. No market data passes through the vendor's servers, and your instrument and date selections never leave your computer. The download queue streams to disk rather than buffering in memory, so a ten-year tick range is bounded by disk space, not RAM, and an interrupted job resumes from where it stopped instead of starting over.

Export formats are CSV and JSON, with MetaTrader, NinjaTrader, Parquet and SQLite/DuckDB on higher licence tiers. The Automation tier adds a headless CLI, a scheduler for planned runs, a watch mode that fetches only the newly available tail, and profile import/export.

Every licence unlocks the complete catalogue and the complete history — tiers differ only in what the software does, never in how much data you may retrieve. Licences are a one-off payment, not a subscription, and include updates for five years.
