What is MapPing?
MapPing isn't another heavy and bulky program to map a LAN. MapPing is a lightweight command (only 681 KB) that you can use also from an USB key because it doesn't write anything in the registry of your Windows. MapPing is fast, I don’t know if it is the fastest program to map a LAN but surely isn’t the most slowest one. MapPing can also save his results in a TXT file, in a CSV file or in both at the same time. From this page you can download a zipped demo version limited in detecting a maximum of three devices in an IP class of which you can scan only the last octet and without the possibility to save the output in a CSV or TXT format. The registered version doesn’t have all this limitations and has an interesting price.
