What is MAPI4Webmail?
MAPI4Webmail is an extension for Webmail accounts (eg. GMail, Yahoo, Outlook, ...) enabling real MAPI support. With MAPI4Webmail you can send emails with attachments from any application supporting MAPI. The IMAP protocol is used to create new messages in the drafts folder of your email account. Also mailto URLs can be redirected to your webmail account.

Been using Affixa for years but has lately been acting buggy in Win 8.1. Given its increasing bloat (which I'm sure is useful for some people) I figured I'd look for something that linked the 'Sent To' feature in Windows Explorer to my webmail, no more, no less. Sure enough MAPI4Webmail does that perfectly. It requires some tweaking of the settings.ini but once you figure out how, it works perfectly. Highly recommended!
