What is Makula?
Makula is a B2B SaaS platform for machinery OEMs and factories that manages the full lifecycle of industrial service and maintenance. Instead of a single rigid tool, it offers two distinct products aimed at two different audiences. The Field Service product is built for industrial equipment manufacturers and distributors. It centralises installed base data, so teams keep an accurate record of every machine in the field along with its configuration, service history, and documentation. From the same system, teams coordinate service requests, schedule and dispatch technicians, and manage spare parts. A branded customer portal lets end customers request support, track service progress, view machine histories, and order parts on their own, which helps manufacturers turn after sales service into recurring revenue. The CMMS product is built for factories and production plants. It helps internal maintenance teams schedule preventive maintenance, raise and assign work orders, track assets across the facility, manage spare parts inventory, and run digital inspections and checklists. The goal is to reduce unplanned downtime, improve technician productivity, and keep operations audit ready for industry standards. Both products share an AI Copilot that surfaces troubleshooting knowledge usually held by experienced staff, guiding faster decisions and helping new team members get up to speed. Makula is modular, so teams can start with the product they need most and expand over time, and it works across desktop and mobile. Makula positions itself as an alternative to traditional Field Service Management (FSM) and CMMS systems, built specifically for the long equipment lifecycles and multi party service chains common in industrial sectors.
