MailChannels information
What is MailChannels?
MailChannels has been running email abuse operations since 2004, filtering outbound and inbound mail for web hosting providers where compromised customer accounts are a daily reality. Roughly 25% of the top 100 hosting providers use it, and the platform handles about 100 million messages per day.
The Email API brings that same operational layer to SaaS platforms, automation tools, and AI agent companies. Every tenant, customer, or agent gets its own identity, policies, rate limits, and suspension path, so one abusive downstream sender does not put the parent account at risk. Generic email APIs assume a single company sending its own mail. MailChannels is built for the case where many independent senders share one account.
Includes REST API and SMTP relay, webhooks for delivery and complaint events, sub-account management, domain authentication, and delivery logs. DreamHost cut email-related support tickets from 300 per week to around 10 after switching.
Built for transactional and platform sending. Not for newsletters, bulk marketing campaigns, or cold outreach.
