   fontconfig vs MacType Comments

FontConfig-Infinality is the only means of getting truly Apple quality font rendering on Linux ever encountered to date (including the often touted alternative, fix-infinality.md, which in no way delivers the same quality), which is unfortunate, as it is an unsupported / discontinued project :(

The gdipp project is a replacement of the Windows text render, which brings to you the effect of text like Mac OS and Linux distributions. It is easy to use with ignorable overhead, and it is fully customizable.
