The utility is actively maintained as of 9/16/15... I am encouraging the developer to add additional distro support. Utilities like this are RARE and SORELY needed in the Mac world.
The only app that worked for me for creating a bootable Linux USB key startup drive that works on a modern Mac. UNetBootIn etc. did not work well. Well worth the reasonable and very low price.
