What is Luksus?

LUKSUS is a tool that creates an encrypted volume and filesystem on a hardrive or other storage media as well as a filecontainer. It can use the following encryption facilities: LUKS, Truecrypt and GELI.

LUKSUS is a wrapper script for cryptsetup/tcplay/geli, shred and mkfs. Instead of having to read up on the documentation for these tools, I wrote this wrapper script to handle the dirtywork. Being opinionated and pragmatic this program assumes that you (must) have: dialog or whiptail, gnutools / coretools , and a supported encryption engine installed. On Linux this is either found in the cryptsetup package for LUKS support and tcplay for Truecrypt support
