Llama is a Location Aware Mobile Application.
Llama uses phone masts to determine your location, so that you can change your ringer, vibrate and ringtones depending on where you are as well as the time of day. Llama provides you with sound profiles so you can quickly switch between quiet, loud, silent and normal sound settings. You can set your family, wife and children to ring even if your phone is set to silent! You can create events and home screen shortcuts to manage your sound profiles and more: -Silence your phone at work. -Turn your Bluetooth on ready to connect your headset for a morning run -Set your phone quiet when it's late at night and you haven't gone out -Start the music player when a headset is connected

There are enough quirks with Android and various Android devices that there WILL be something you want to automate based on where you are or what just happened in your phone (e.g. WiFi Connected). Llama gives you the power to tweak an Android based device and make it work the way you want it to. It also gives you ways to reconfigure the phone based on where you are, WITHOUT killing your battery by turning on the GPS receiver. I have used it to automate the steps necessary to detect my home WiFi and set up some special networking settings that I need to turn back off as soon as I leave the house. What used to be a 5 minute annoyance every time I arrived home or left, is now handled for me by Llama. It's possible that you won't find something useful for this tool to do for you, but it isn't likely.
Does anyone else have problems with Llama? I put it on my phone a while ago and made other apps crash....
What other apps does everyone else use for audio/profile management.
I use
Smart Volume Control+ for my phone profiles. It works well!
I couldn't get Llama to work on my phone too! It just be with most phones.
