What is LiveFaceSwap Desktop?

LiveFaceSwap Desktop is a desktop client for applying real-time Face Swap, Try-On, and Restyle transformations to a camera feed. Processing is performed by cloud AI services, so using live transformations requires an internet connection and does not require a dedicated GPU or local model installation.

The Windows 11 and Apple Silicon macOS editions provide the LiveFaceSwap Camera virtual camera, which can be selected by compatible streaming, meeting, and video-call software. The Linux x64 edition provides an in-app real-time camera preview but does not currently provide virtual-camera output; it is distributed as DEB, AppImage, and standalone Flatpak packages.

The desktop download is free, but live processing uses the account’s shared credit balance. Credits and subscriptions also apply to the browser version, and the product documentation states that users must have the necessary rights or permission to process a person's likeness or media.
