I have used Linux Game Server Managers(LGSM) for nearly a year now. It was amazingly simple to setup new Linux machines with LGSM and basic game server running. The game specific install pages ( example: http://gameservermanagers.com/lgsm/fofserver/ ) are to the point and easy to follow. I personally have never had any issue following any of these pages. I will be contributing any way that I can, from now on. It is only fair considering that I will be using LGSM from now on also!

LinuxGSM or LGSM for short is really the best bet for server hosting on linux.

It is 100% automated fire & forget tool that works rock solid, none of LGSM servers I host have never crashed and they are super easy to maintain.

update via cron and auto start via systemd (if your distro has systemd, of not then you can do the same with alternatives.)

Only downside is it gets confusing when you try to edit your server config file and get it running by adding local IP, and configuring everything else.

All in all i can highly recommend using LinuxGSM and supporting Daniel Gibbs in his development of this useful tool because this project can grow even bigger and better with our support.

By supporting Daniel Gibbs and LinuxGSM we are supporting entire Linux gaming and Linux in general.

10000/10 would recommend to everyone!

LinuxGSM - is the game server manager for you! Yes, very easy and simple to use - a noob could use it just by reading a few tutorials. Having a little hand in Linux does help, VPS, dedicated or private server you own would be the best way to go with it. Takes under half an hour to get installed and up and running and have your favourite game server hosted with no trouble! They've a very active Discord to help any new-comers with any issues and the staff are a delight! There are tons of games supported and you can suggest new games to be implemented and they'll work on them if possible. It is free to use - donations are likely appreciated - but absolutely free to get running and setup!

Give it a try today!

Ever since Linux Game Server Managers added support for our game (Blade Symphony) I've not only used it myself to host servers with for over a year I've also recommended it to other hosts. LGSM supports many games and I can't recommend it enough!

What is LinuxGSM?

The command-line tool for quick, simple deployment and management of Linux dedicated game servers.

Traditionally game servers are not easy to manage yourself. Admins often have to spend hours messing around trying to get their server working. LinuxGSM is a command-line tool designed to be as simple as possible, allowing admins to spend less time on management and more time gaming.

Supports over 100+ game servers
