Not for beginners. This is more of a Script maker/runner than it is a text expander. Quick start: Press CapLock key, choose Edit for New, Choose a Hotkey, type the text you want into Part One and save. Left click tray icon to reload bundle. Press the hot key where you want the text. Using a shortcut vs key didn't work for me for some reason, nor could I get part 2 text, but I already use PhraseExpress, etc.. so I don't want to get too involved.

What is Lintalist?
Lintalist allows you to store and (incrementally) search and edit texts in bundles and paste a selected text in your active program. The text can be interactive, for example you can automatically insert the current time and date, ask for (basic) user input or make a selection from a list etc and finally it can also run a script. You can use keyboard shortcuts or abbreviations to paste the text (or run the script) without opening the search window. You can extend Lintalist by writing your own plugins. Lintalist is open source and developed in AutoHotkey.

I use Lintalist as a quick access note database more then anything else and it works amazingly well for it.

portable, versatlile, lots of possibilities with autohotkey
This is an absolutely amazing text replacement tool. It is free, and highly customizable. Perhaps, there is a slight learning curve but once you get it, it is very easy to setup snippets. Thank you for providing this amazing tool for free.
Portable which is my preference. Written in AutoHotKey Requires a lot of time to setup. Config list is huge. Takes some time to understand it. Cannot drag to resize, the default window is quite large ( resize in Config).
Whenever changes are made to config, Lintalist must restart, but requires 6 clicks to restart. Personally I found it annoying, so I have given up for now, and will come back in several months.
Documenation is excellent, just a lot of it (not complaining) Allow a full day to get started, it certainly is not plug and play for beginners. Aimed at busy users of text insertion.
Really love this powerful app that is built on Autohotkey. Beats several text expander programs. Especially because it supports Formatted text, HTML, images and various other plugins. Thanks for making it free.
You're welcome - glad you like it :-)
