Lingoquest information
What is Lingoquest?
Lingoquest is a free, browser-based exploration and survival game set in 1480s Andalusia, rendered in an isometric, quasi-3D perspective — not flat top-down like classic Zelda. Players dodge enemies, manage health, and make their way to NPCs across three worlds. No download, no signup — playable directly at lingoquest.world/play.
Layered on top of the game world is an optional Spanish-language quiz system: six quiz levels woven into the same NPCs, fully skippable for players who just want the exploration/survival experience.
The setting draws on Morón de la Frontera, home of the Morón school of flamenco, and the project is partly inspired by Mozilla's old BrowserQuest.
Built and maintained by a solo developer.
