I tested around 10 VST hosts. All were lame or had some weakness making them useless for me. Initially, I dumped this host. It didn't read most of my VSTs. But later I found a compatible plugin — independence_softwaresuite_32_dlm.exe — which is a collection of plugins. I could load it. I have a noise filter now — rnnoise stereo — and multiple other effects. Like gain or reverb. The voice from a cheap mic sounds much better now. It is also great for running audio books through it. And doesn't take up screen space. 44100 Hz. The buffer size is 1664 samples.

What is Light Host?

A minimalistic VST host. Holds up to 4 VSTs. Allows for multiple instances (see how on GitHub). If you try to load an unregistered plugin, it may fail. Register somewhere else, then load it. If the sound clicks a lot, increase the buffer size or switch to Direct Sound in Audio Device type. Very good for VoIP and other minor use.
