LayoutFox

LayoutFox fixes words typed in the wrong keyboard layout, Russian or English. Type ghbdtn and the screen shows привет. Four fixes in five happen mid-word, on the third letter on average. It swaps the word in one batch of key events, so the line doesn't jump: the old word is gone from the screen for 1.7 ms, against 18.5 ms for a switcher that erases and retypes it letter by letter. It breaks a correct word 4 times in 2,976 (0.13%), and only rare ones. It leaves code alone (README.md, snake_case), learns your own words after you type them twice, and puts a word back if you press Backspace right after a fix. Double Shift converts the last word, and on the Mac a selection too. It works through remote desktops such as Parsec, where Caramba misses the keys. Nothing you type leaves your computer. Install with brew install --cask danzerzine/tap/layoutfox or download from the site.
