What is Lamco RDP Server?

lamco-rdp-server is a Wayland-native RDP server written in Rust. It uses different strategies and protocols to connect to a wide variety of Wayland-capable compositors and implementations, autodetecting the capabilities of the linux desktop and selecting the best available options for each case.

lamco-rdp-server includes hardware and software encoding options, H.264, clipboard, and the full gamut of features across a wide variety of distributions and configuraitons.

lamco-rdp-server is available in Flatpak and Snap formats (called the Community Edition) which are fully free to use within their limited capability environments (due to sandboxing limitations). Fully native lamco-rdp-server is free for single-use, nonprofit, and educational use with a non-competitive clause. Multiple instances require commercial licensing outside of these use cases.
