Disclosure: I built Krosos, so weigh this accordingly.
It is a personal finance app for people who want one honest net-worth number without putting their whole financial picture in someone else's shared database. Every customer gets their own SQLite database file and their own encryption keys, hosted in the EU (Belgian company, VAT handled). What is Krosos?
Most people tracking their net worth run four things that disagree with each other: a spreadsheet, a portfolio tracker, a tax workbook and a retirement calculator.
Krosos is one app instead of four.
It syncs read-only from your brokers, your EU banks, money-market funds, on-chain wallets and seven crypto exchanges, then subtracts what you owe, so the total is your real net worth rather than one broker's slice of it. Under the balances sits a full transaction ledger, and that is what makes the rest work:
• Capital gains matched to the lots you actually bought, with your country's rates and exemptions applied (presets for Belgium including the 2026 reset, France and Germany), every figure traceable back to the trades behind it
• A forecast that runs decades out on income, spending, pensions, taxes and market swings, down to the month you could stop working
• Rebalancing alerts when your mix drifts, a weekly digest, a Telegram bot, and a read-only API your AI assistant can answer from
Every customer gets their own database file and their own encryption keys, never a row in a shared table. Connections are read-only, so nothing can trade or move a cent. Export everything and leave whenever you want. Or run the desktop app, where the data never leaves your machine and there is no operator at all.

It is a personal finance app for people who want one honest net-worth number without putting their whole financial picture in someone else's shared database. Every customer gets their own SQLite database file and their own encryption keys, hosted in the EU (Belgian company, VAT handled). There is also a desktop version that runs entirely on your own machine, for anyone who would rather no operator could read anything at all.
It syncs banks, brokers, cash, money-market funds, pension, commodities, valuables, property and crypto, plus what you owe, through read-only connections. Under the numbers sits a full transaction ledger, so it also does capital-gains estimates (BE, FR and DE presets), allocation and rebalancing alerts, and FIRE-style projections with an FI date and withdrawal strategies. Base currency is EUR, USD, GBP or CHF, picked at signup.
There is a read-only demo with fake data, no signup: https://demo.krosos.com
What it does not do: budgeting or expense tracking, and bank coverage is EU-focused. €6/mo or €60/yr after a 14-day trial. No free tier, because per-customer storage and backups are a real cost and I am not going to fund a free tier by monetising data.
