Koona Pin

Your bookmarks and reading list, in one file on your computer. Koona Pin is a bookmark library for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. On the computer, save the page you are on from Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with one button; on Android, paste a link or share one from another app. Read it later in reading mode, without menus or banners, and follow the sites you like through their feeds. It works offline.

• Where your data lives: in a SQLite file on your device, with automatic backups next to it (paths). No Koona server holds a copy of your library.
• What the app sends out: no analytics, telemetry or crash reports. It connects to the sites you save, read and follow; on a computer, to Google's favicon service for missing site icons and to koona.app once a day for updates; with Supporter, to the Koona server about your plan and to the sync relay, which passes end-to-end encrypted changes and stores none of them (full list).
• What it costs: nothing. Everything in What it does is free, local backups included. Supporter, optional ($1.49 a month, $9.99 a year or $29.99 once), adds sync, backups to a folder you choose and two more reading themes.
