What is Komodo?

Komodo cryptocurrency is a privacy based platform that provides end-to-end Blockchain Solutions empowering developers to build freely with their own independent blockchains on the Komodo Platform and protected by Bitcoin's hashpower by utilizing Komodo's notary system called Delayed Proof-of-Work (dPoW). Anyone can launch Decentralized ICO's (dICOs) powered by Atomic Swaps from the platform, trade peer-to-peer with a truly decentralized Atomic Swap powered exchange BarterDEX which requires no proxy tokens, no account names, no registration, no custodial accounts, and no centralized layers to trade.

Komodo has pioneered the tech and usage of Atomic Swaps since 2016 and uses it for not only its exchange and dICO solutions, but also its native, in-wallet coin jumbling service called Jumblr, which uses Atomic Swaps and Zk-Snarks to offer complete privacy without ever having to leave your wallet. As of 2018 Komodo is implementing scaling solutions utilizing a unique system called MoMoM in order to scale its transaction capabilities and is expected to complete a 1M TX/s test.
