What is Klystrack?
klystrack is a chiptune composing tool that uses klystron. It is comparable to AHX on the Amiga, using a tracker interface with a powerful sound engine.
FEATURES
- Additive synthesis with filters (think SID, Atari, NES etc.)
- FM synthesis (Adlib, MSX, OPL2 etc.)
- Wavetable for samples or custom waveforms to be used in synthesis
- Built-in wave generator and editor
- Skinnable sequencer, includes half dozen themes
- Export as .WAV
- Export each track as separate .WAV's
- Import .WAV's as samples
- Import Protracker and FT2 modules
- Import C64 SID files (Rob Hubbard player)
Comments and Reviews
The UI gets straight to the point. Might be a potential favorite. I'm not one to say but it makes me feel that is all.. Also love the cat. I'm pretty sure there's also options for how someone would desire to adjust the visualization in the top corner to be a certain way. I overlooked this back then but now I realize how much I enjoy this thing. Keep that in mind when considering my comment.
