In KiloDoc, you don't select text and then click through dropdowns to change properties like size and boldness. Instead, you pick from a palette of components like Headers, Paragraphs, and Lists.
With components, text styling feels like snapping together Legos. Because components can only be interlocked in ways that make sense when it comes to presenting content, your page won't spiral into a garbled mess even if you tried.
Pages themselves are like Lego bricks too. To better organize Pages, KiloDoc provides the Section and Topic components (think of these like colored/labeled bins for your Legos). A Page indicates the Section it belongs to via color and the Topic it belongs to via the text at the top. No more scrolling up and down to find where your doc starts talking about something.
KiloDoc is fast, so fast that there's practically no difference between loading a 5-page doc and a 500-page doc. This is accomplished by prioritizing loading Sections and Topics. Jump to the page you want, and details like text and images will be loaded based on which pages are in view.
A navigation pane lets you track where you are and jump to pages even if they aren't loaded in yet. The content on the Page you want will then be loaded upon navigating to it.
You won't have to worry about saving either, no matter what device you're editing on. Your docs will scale from 8.5x11in. pages to a mobile-friendly view seamlessly, all while preserving access to KiloDoc's full range of editing capabilities. The days of juggling separate mobile/desktop experiences are done.
And waste zero time getting everyone's font size & spacing to match. No matter who's editing alongside you, they'll be using the same well-defined formatting presets that comes with KiloDoc's component-based editor. No longer will there be that one person who nudges everything they click on by a few pixels.
