What is Kicksecure?
Kicksecure is a free and open-source Linux distribution that aims to provide a highly secure computing environment. It has been developed from the ground up according to a formidable -- and time proven -- defense in-depth security design. In the default configuration, Kicksecure provides superior layered defenses of protection from many types of Malware.
Kicksecure uses an extensively security reconfigured of the Debian base (Hardened) which can be run either on bare metal or inside multiple virtual machines (VMs) on top of the host OS. Its architecture provides a substantial layer of protection from malware. Applications are pre-installed and configured with safe defaults to make them ready for use with minimal user input.
