It's preferable to AutoHotKey as it doesn't run in background draining resources, relying on the more permanent registry tweak instead. Some games ignore changes made by KeyTweak, use AHK for them.
I have tried a handful of it's more popular alternatives and sadly non worked for me at least. In my case I wanted to remap the "" to the Insert button, due to the original key on my keyboard stopped working.
Must have if you have a Mac keyboard on Windows!
I remapped the volume up / down keys to control volume and changed the location of the Windows button. Super easy!
