KernelSU Next information
What is KernelSU Next?
KernelSU Next is a kernel-rooting solution for Android devices. It supports non-GKI kernels from versions 4.x to 5.4 in LTS mode, with 3.x as experimental, and GKI kernels from versions 5.10 to 6.6 in GKI mode, with anything beyond 6.6 also being experimental.
The software includes dynamic module mount capabilities, Magic Mount and OverlayFS, which can be toggled from the settings. The manager application has been redesigned, including an improved user interface. It allows for module backup and restoration.
KernelSU Next automatically updates the manager app and hides hosts file modifications from detectors using app profile unmount. It also supports bulk installation of modules and allows customization of the OverlayFS sparse image size, default being 6GB.
The software enables backup and restoration of the SU permission allowlist for all apps previously granted permissions, useful for restoring SU permissions on a different device or setup. It also provides basic information for SuSFS and controls for KPROBES hooks hiding mode.
