For a long time I'm looking for a FOSS workout app in order to track my progress so I tried Kenko and this is what I think about it:

Pros:

  • Beautiful design with Material 3
  • Great variety of workout plans to select
  • Possibility to create custom exercises and plans

Cons:

  • Small dataset of exercises (without images)
  • Not really user-friendly: there isn't any kind of tutorial or explanation
  • It's a more of a journal and a tracker so, technically, the user logs the workout when it ends rather then live.

Kenko is one of the few FOSS, workout-related apps and it's one of the best. However, it doesn't fit my needs entirely so I think I'll keep looking for the perfect app.
