What is KeepMySnaps?

Snapchat's "My Data" export gives you every photo dated the day you downloaded it, with captions, stickers and city filters split off into separate files and no locations attached. KeepMySnaps puts it all back.

  • Real capture dates written into every photo (EXIF) and video (MP4 header), so Apple Photos, Google Photos, Immich and Windows sort them correctly
  • Captions, stickers, drawings and city filters drawn back onto photos and into videos, frame by frame
  • Locations restored where Snapchat's data makes them knowable, left blank rather than guessed where it doesn't
  • Long videos that Snapchat cut into 10 second clips joined back into one
  • Split exports with several ZIP files handled together

It runs entirely in your browser. Your export is never uploaded, there is no account, and it never asks for your Snapchat login. You can check it yourself: turn off your Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works.

Works in every browser on laptops, desktops and phones. In Chrome, Edge and most Chromium browsers the fixed photos go straight into a folder you pick, and a run that stops carries on where it left off.
