Juniper Contrail Alternatives

Juniper Contrail is described as 'Contrail Networking is a software-defined networking (SDN) platform based on the open-source network virtualization project, OpenContrail. The Juniper platform automates and orchestrates the creation of highly scalable virtual networks'. There are four alternatives to Juniper Contrail for Linux, Self-Hosted solutions and BSD. The best alternative is pfSense, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Juniper Contrail are VyOS (Paid, Open Source), Smoothwall (Free, Open Source) and OpenContrail (Free, Open Source).
