What is Jinn Panel?

Jinn-Panel is an open-source, lightweight web hosting management control panel designed as a modern alternative to traditional legacy stacks like cPanel, WHM, and Plesk. Built from the ground up to eliminate heavy frameworks, bloat, and escalating licensing fees, it provides a fast and highly optimized environment for self-hosters, sysadmins, and web developers.

The application architecture cleanly separates the administrative layer (WHM equivalent) and the user layer (cPanel equivalent) utilizing a performant, modern software infrastructure stack instead of legacy systems:

• Web Server and Runtime: Powered by FrankenPHP, delivering native worker modes and Go/Caddy optimizations directly to plain PHP and Tailwind CSS frontends. • Mail Subsystem: Managed by Stalwart Mail, replacing legacy mail daemons with a secure, modern mail server written in Rust. • Secure File Transfer: Driven by SFTPGo. • Domain Name System: Managed via Knot DNS. • Target Operating System: Built natively for and deployed on AlmaLinux. Key Features: • Administrative Control (WHM View): Full management over hosting plans, reseller configurations, account quotas, service log access, and automated hardware resource tuning based on live CPU and RAM signatures. • User Control (cPanel View): Independent dashboards for domain vhost configurations, secure MySQL database provisioning, native AutoSSL selection, and Stalwart mail account management. • One-Click Migration Engine: Seamless data transfer directly from active root WHM servers, cleanly pulling down configurations, databases, web directory files, and email accounts. • Streamlined Deployment: A non-interactive, idempotent one-command installation script built for fresh server deployments that securely configures and auto-generates credentials out of the box.
