Java Logger has been discontinued. Similar apps include tinylog, which is free and open source. Other options are LOGBack and Apache Log4j. In total there are three apps like Java Logger for Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS and self-hosting.
tinylog is a lightweight logging framework with static logger class for Java and can be configured by a fluent API as well as by properties files. Log entries can be written to the console, in files or databases.
Logback is intended as a successor to the popular log4j project, picking up where log4j leaves off.
Apache log4j is a Java-based logging utility. It was originally written by Ceki Gülcü and is now a project of the Apache Software Foundation. log4j is one of several Java logging frameworks.
