Unfortunately other than as a leg to stand on as far as valuations go, the app has little value. About 1/3 of the items I donate don't have a remotely equivalent category available. And the valuations seems remarkably high, which is great if the IRS "buys" it during an audit, but certainly not if it triggers an audit. A Bogleheads forum thread lists H&R Block's DeductionPro, and Donation Assistant from TaxAct as alternatives.
