What is IPredator?

IPredator provides you with an encrypted tunnel from your computer to the Internet. We are hiding your real IP address behind one of ours.

IPredator was launched in 2009 as a response to a growing trend of Internet censorship, in restrictive regimes as well as so-called open societies. Our main goal is to provide a seriously non-discriminating access flatrate for the Internet.

Over time we have come up with more complementary services running alongside the main VPN service, fostering our users privacy and anonymity. We also support and are involved in various projects working for censorship-free networks.

We currently have more than 100 VPN servers located in Sweden. Our pricing is calculated on realistic costs per user, so that we can deliver an all-in-one flatrate. The network uplink provided by our ISP has an aggregate speed of around 40Gbits.

Once connected, users are assigned a random unique public IP address from one of our IP ranges. Users can choose between the OpenVPN and PPTP VPN protocols.

Right now we support IPv4 for PPTP and OpenVPN. IPv6 is only available for OpenVPN.
