IOweU
IOweU is a free IOU tracker for money, borrowed items, favors, and tasks. Where most expense splitters only handle shared money, IOweU covers anything people owe each other, and either side can create the IOU — you don't have to wait for the other person to log it.

We mainly use IOweU at home with our son. It is a nice way to give him small tasks and make clear what needs to be done, sometimes with a reward attached.
He seems to enjoy receiving the tasks through the app, especially when we add a funny GIF, and it often works better than simply reminding him several times. It makes everyday chores feel a bit more playful and gives him a sense of accomplishment when he completes them.
A simple and fun app for families.

What is IOweU?
IOweU is a free IOU tracker for money, borrowed items, favors, and tasks. Where most expense splitters only handle shared money, IOweU covers anything people owe each other, and either side can create the IOU — you don't have to wait for the other person to log it.
Every IOU is visible to both people. The recipient can accept, reject, withdraw, or propose a change, and either side can reassign an IOU to someone else. Push notifications keep both parties updated on every change, and you can attach a photo or a GIF to any IOU.
For households, IOweU doubles as a chore tracker with optional rewards: parents assign chores to kids, kids can create their own chores and propose a reward, and a completed chore turns the reward into a regular IOU automatically.
IOweU is made in Switzerland, 100% free with no in-app purchases, and stores data in the EU under GDPR. Available on iOS and Android.
