InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing your quotes, invoices, clients and payments. The application comes with various options, templates and settings to customize your invoicing experience. Users can set up up to 25 different payment providers to let their customers pay the invoices via online payment providers like PayPal, Stripe or Coinbase.

Overall this is a great and a minimalistic CRM-ish Webware. Why I say CRM-ish as InvoicePlane primary use is for creation and managing Invoices and Estimates. Overall the Interface is pretty good build using Bootstrap 3.x.x, the problem however is that InvoicePlane is pretty dated and runs on PHP 5.4+ which is great but it's not going to be compatible with say PHP 7.2 - 7.3 as large chunks of PHP 5.x+ code have been depreciated in the PHP 7.x versions.
As far as the Future goes the based on the Community discussions V2 may go fully Commercial and current 1.5.x is being maintained but do to the sheer amount of Core files can't be easily transitioned to PHP 7.x
Overall I liked this Webware for the time I used it, I still would improved a tad on UI aspects to make certain tasks more streamline, but it is what it is.
if i read correctly their post, they aim to start a new v2 from scratch, because the original developers would launch a commercial version. and because of the PHP compatibility. this would mean the project could continue as FOSS.. but it wont be anytime soon.
Great free web-application for creating invoices and quotes for starting business owners. It's supporting several payment providers, so customers can pay online with their bank or creditcard. Customizing is also very easy and it's secure to use!

I didn't manage to run this app, because it has to be browser integrated. Too bad...
Hello there, what exactly do you mean that "it has to be browser integrated"?
He means that this "app" is not native on Mac and Windows. It is a web hosted only app. Therefore the tag Mac and Windows is misleading.
