What is Telvio?

Telvio is a mobile VoIP app for making low-cost international calls from your phone to ordinary landline and mobile numbers. Calls are routed over WiFi or mobile data instead of the carrier network, so there is no roaming and no SIM swap. The person you call does not need the app or an internet connection - their regular phone simply rings.

There is no registration: no email, phone number or password is required, so the app can be installed and used within seconds. Every new install includes one free minute.

Minutes are bought as one-time packages through the App Store, starting at $1.99 (Starter), $4.99 (Standard) and $9.99 (Pro). There is no subscription and no auto-renewal, purchased minutes never expire, billing is per second and there are no connection fees. Rates start at roughly $0.02-$0.03 per minute to major destinations, which can be up to 98% cheaper than carrier roaming.

Telvio supports outgoing calls only. It does not provide an incoming phone number and cannot be used for emergency services calls.
