Interart is a WebAR platform for artists and creators who work with physical prints: posters, art prints, trading cards, zines, and exhibition pieces.
You upload a photo of the artwork, compose digital layers on top in a drag-and-drop editor (video, images, GIFs, text, 3D models), and publish. Each design gets one link and QR code. Viewers open it in their phone browser, iOS Safari or Android Chrome, point the camera at the physical piece, and the layers play pinned to it in real time. There is no viewer app: everything runs on web standards.
Technical notes:
- Image tracking uses the artwork's own visual detail as the marker. No glyphs or codes are printed on the art itself; the QR sits beside it.
- Camera frames are processed on the viewer's device and are not uploaded.
- Layers can extend beyond the artwork's edges, and a portal mode lets elements sink behind the print.
- Published work is updatable after printing: republishing can update what every existing QR and link shows, or create a new link.
- Usage limits are monthly allowances with no overage billing. When an account reaches its scans for the month, its published artwork pauses for viewers until the 1st of the next month, and an upgrade lifts the pause at once. Nothing is deleted by a cap or a plan change.
Pricing: free plan (3 published designs, 100 scans per month, commercial use included). Pro is $18 per month or $173 per year (unlimited designs, 10,000 scans per month, no watermark). A commercial tier for shops and publishers is quote-based.
