Imotara is a calm, private space to put feelings into words and notice how they change over time. There are no public profiles, no likes and no followers.
It works in 22 languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Urdu, Spanish, Arabic, French, German, Portuguese, Indonesian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Hebrew. Both chat and voice are supported across the set, so you can describe something in the language you actually feel it in rather than translating yourself into English first.
What it does: companion chat for talking things through, mood check-ins, a history timeline and trends over weeks and months, breathing exercises, voice input and read-aloud, and optional cloud sync across devices.
Privacy: conversations stay on your device by default. No ads, no data selling and no tracking across the web. Where an organisation pays for licences it can see that a licence is in use, never who said what.
The free tier is permanent: twenty cloud replies a day, then unlimited on-device replies, so a conversation is never cut off mid-sentence. A paid plan adds unlimited replies, longer history, natural neural voice and emotion trends. Nothing to do with safety sits behind the paywall.
What it is not: Imotara is a wellness companion for self-reflection. It is not therapy, it does not diagnose, and it is not a crisis service. When something sounds serious it shows the helpline for your own country rather than one country's number worldwide, and encourages you to reach a real person. Minimum age is 13, and under 18 a parent or guardian must agree.
Available on the web, Android and iOS.
