What is Hypatia RPN Calculator?

Hypatia is a text-based programmable scientific calculator for Windows that uses its own enhanced version of RPN (Reverse Polish Notation). Hypatia is free, open source, fully portable, has a very small footprint, and can be run from the Windows desktop, the PowerShell, or from the command line. Featuring named variables, scripts, user-defined operators, if/then/else clauses, count- and condition controlled loops and much more, Hypatia can be used for complex tasks like iterative calculations, Fibonacci sequences or Monte Carlo experiments, but it is also well suited for much simpler and more mundane everyday purposes, like basic arithmetics or unit conversions.
