What is html2wp?

html2wp converts a static HTML site — or anything that builds to one — into a standalone WordPress block theme. Lovable, Bolt, v0, Claude artifacts, Next.js export, Vite, Astro, shadcn or hand-written pages all go in as a folder.

The markup you shipped is the markup that ships: nothing rebuilds your sections into a page builder's widgets, so the result is 1:1 with the design rather than an approximation of it.

What separates it from other HTML-to-WordPress converters is that it checks its own output. Every page is compared against the original at 1440, 820 and 390 pixels wide, the generated theme is installed into a throwaway WordPress and exercised there, and the last stage is a person reading every page pair.

The delivered theme is standalone: pages, blog, forms, menus, SEO and redirects are its own code, it needs no plugin to run, and it contacts no server at runtime. Free tier: three conversions of up to five pages each, no key and no sign-up. Runs as a Claude Code or Codex plugin; requires Node 20+, Python with Playwright, and Docker.
