I made HRConvert2! I think it's the best file conversion server out there because it's secure, it's fast, and it's reliable. At the time of this writing it produces 0 HTML errors and finishes most operations in a fraction of a second. The OCR is pretty neat too. The official website has a demo called "Quick Convert" where you can try it out before you download the source code and give it a go yourself.

Not cool to give your own app 5 stars bro. Thanks for your hard work but it's currently not perfect to warrant such a high rating.

Maybe this thing works better running directly on bare metal but on Docker I've had nothing but disappointment. Uploaded a PNG and it does not recognize as a valid file. Uploaded a SVG tried to convert to DXF, nothing. It does not surface log messages on the UI so impossible to know what is happening, what errors or what it's doing. Just a spinner that doesn't stop moving. No way to manually delete files that have been uploaded from what I can see. It explains that it deletes automatically but it's not that difficult to give manual control too "in case it goes wrong". Tried to uploaded a mp4 video around 300MB it doesn't recognize either. Running on a 4 core Core i7 processor with 8GB RAM. No GPU as it's a repurposed QNAP NAS running Debian 11. I can see the volume was created fine. Docker exec inside the container shows converter folder. Just not worth the trouble.
