What is host-html?
host-html is a hosting service for single HTML files. You paste HTML code or drag and drop an html file and it returns a live, shareable URL in seconds — with no git repository, build step, or deploy pipeline. Publishing requires a free account.
It is built for quickly putting one-off pages online: resumes and portfolios, prototypes and client demos, slide decks, dashboards, quizzes, landing pages, and the HTML that AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, v0, Bolt and Cursor generate. Pages can also be published programmatically with a personal API key, so scripts and AI agents can publish and share HTML without opening the dashboard.
On the free plan, pages stay online for 10 days and support files up to 1 MB with basic page-view analytics. A paid Pro plan keeps pages online permanently and adds password protection, badge removal, custom slugs, in-place editing, version history, detailed analytics (referrers, countries, devices), tags, collections that group several pages under one link, QR codes, and form/response collection, with a larger 10 MB per-file limit. A Team plan adds custom domains, a 50 MB per-file limit, and shared seats.
Pricing is freemium: free accounts, Pro from $5/month (with an annual option), and a Team plan.
