    EasyMotion provides a much simpler way to use some motions in vim. It takes the <number> out of <number>w or <number>f{char} by highlighting all possible choices and allowing you to press one key to jump directly to the target.

    You can think of stargate as simplified modern alternative to easymotion for vim 8.2+. It uses popups windows to show hints, so it will not modify the content of your buffer and because of that linter plugins will not get mad.
