Hop Alternatives
Hop is described as 'EasyMotion-like plugin allowing you to jump anywhere in a document with as few keystrokes as possible. It does so by annotating text in your buffer with hints, short string sequences for which each character represents a key to type to jump to the annotated text' and is an app in the development category. There are four alternatives to Hop for a variety of platforms, including Mac, Windows, Linux, BSD and Vim apps. The best Hop alternative is Vim Sneak, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Hop are EasyMotion, Vim9 Stargate and Quick-scope.

EasyMotion provides a much simpler way to use some motions in vim. It takes the <number> out of <number>w or <number>f{char} by highlighting all possible choices and allowing you to press one key to jump directly to the target.
