What is HiFi Control?

HiFi Control is a Windows desktop application for controlling networked HiFi audio equipment from brands like NAD, Bluesound, DALI, Monitor Audio, Denon, and Marantz. It fills a gap that manufacturer apps leave wide open: there is no official HEOS desktop app at all, and the official BluOS desktop app lacks power-user features like hotkeys and system tray integration. Unlike mobile-first manufacturer apps, HiFi Control is designed for people who work at a computer and want to control their audio equipment without leaving their current task. It lives in the system tray, responds to global hotkeys, and supports the Microsoft Surface Dial for, so you can adjust your amplifier's volume, skip tracks, or switch input sources without switching windows.

Key features include: • Dirac Live profile A/B comparison tools for room correction tuning • Configurable global hotkeys for volume, playback, input selection, and presets • Cross-device Presets that group settings and actions from multiple devices into a single hotkey • System tray mini player with volume control and now-playing info • Microsoft Surface Dial support for precise, hands-on volume adjustment • Automatic device discovery and reconnection when IP addresses change • Spotify and Tidal integration with playback control • Direct links to product manuals for every supported device

HiFi Control currently supports BluOS-enabled devices (Bluesound, NAD, DALI, Monitor Audio, Roksan, Cyrus Audio) with HEOS support (Denon, Marantz) on the roadmap. It is available free, as a subscription or a one-time perpetual buy.
