What is Hexbon?
Hexbon is a privacy-focused password manager and encrypted data vault, built around the idea that your data should stay yours. Everything you store is encrypted directly in your browser before it ever reaches the servers, so the service itself cannot read or access your secrets. It’s designed to handle more than just passwords, allowing you to securely store emails, links, notes, and TOTP/2FA secrets for generating codes when you need them. Access is handled through OAuth login only, using providers like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Discord, or Yahoo, meaning there are no platform-stored master passwords. The platform avoids trackers and third-party analytics, keeping logging to a minimum for security reasons. Data is organized using flexible cards and records, letting users structure information in a way that fits their workflow. Sharing is handled through encrypted links that can be set to expire, work only once, or stay active until revoked. Backup snapshots help protect against accidental changes, and a browser extension allows quick access with offline decryption after syncing. The service also offers free security tools such as password and UUID generators, encryption utilities, and supports exporting encrypted data so users retain full control and long-term independence.
