Hell's Obby

In this post-apocalyptic world engulfed by lava that’s constantly chasing you down, you must race to the top of the wasteland to escape it and earn some goodies. In this forsaken realm, you have to deal with the constant risk of instant sublimation due to unintentional lava-drowning, and you’ll also be fighting your way to the top against other 24 players that share the same goal: to reach the top first, or be the last one standing.

With 25 players armed to the teeth, you’ll need to make quick decisions and display true skill to get past them and escape from the rising lava. Your goal is to reach the top first – or be the last one alive in the realm. To do so, you’ll need to arm yourself accordingly, and that’s precisely why there’s a whole arsenal at your disposal – we’ll get to that in a moment.

When you start a game for the very first time, you get one weapon and two inventory slots for items that can be used along the way. You can get an advantage by upgrading your inventory in between matches, allowing you to carry more weapons and tools to stump the competition.

At the beginning of the game, you start in a safe zone where no combat is permitted, and where you can change your loadout by picking up weapons and usable items. This means that the bigger your inventory, the more tools you’ll have at your disposal – making it a core mechanic of the game progression. The safe zone won’t be safe forever though, when the timer reaches zero, the lava will start to rise and you certainly won’t want to stay put when that happens.

Once the game begins, the lava will start to move up progressively, further limiting the playable area and pushing you towards the top of the realm. The lava advances the whole time – a piece of advice: don’t try to swim in it.

In Hell’s Obby you get the maximum reward from reaching the top first, but since the environment you’re in is hostile and every other player is out to get you, you’ll need to be wise and skilful to conquer the top. The gameplay of Hell’s Obby forces you to strike a balance between rushing and engaging in fights, and playing carefully and surviving the different perils in the realm.
